Fitness Program
Comprehensive fitness includes three key elements: Weight training, cardio training, and nutrition. Each member will be assessed when they join the gym and a personal exercise regimen and nutritional assessment will be provided to assist you in meeting your goals and get you started. Further assistance can be achieved through Personal Training, Nutritional Counseling, group fitness class attendance, and participating in the motivational and healthy living recommendations available at the gym.
The KEY to a great fitness program is changing up your routine. At Rockbrook Women’s Gym, we have the variety of equipment and classes to help you do just that! While any exercise is better than doing nothing, it is critical that you alter your routine every 6-8 weeks to ensure your body does not get used to the same regimen and leaves you at that dreaded “plateau”. Altering between, upper body, lower body, cardio exercises and mat routines is important along with increasing weights and changing the reps performed as part of your routine. While the quick 30 minute circuit training is a popular routine for women, it is not optimal when trying to reduce body fat. Variety is necessary to get you to the next level of fitness and help you reach your goals long term. Our equipment and facility allow you to choose whether circuit training is for you or alternating your routine. We have the freedom and variety of equipment to ensure you are “doing it right” whether you have 20 minutes a day or 1 hour a day for your exercise routine. Miss a day? Don’t worry, the muscle you build helps sustain you through those periods where you don’t have time to exercise. Learn from our personal trainers and the staff at Rockbrook Women’s Gym, how you can spice up your routine and help you reach your very specific and individualized goals.
